This week was an amazing lesson highlighting Queen Esther‘s courage. The aim of the lesson was to help us understand that as God’s people sometime we are put in a desperate situation that is beyond our control.
This lesson shows how strategic God works in our lives. He is our creator, but not a creator that leaves us alone. He is active in our every day experiences.
A key point to acknowledge is when Mordecai encouraged Esther and reminded her with this question. Who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?
There are three principles embodied in his advice:
1) no place of privilege can ever exempt a person from responsibility to respond to God‘s call
2) A situation may look hopeless, but God is never helpless
3) God-given opportunity is an individual received privilege
