3. What past experiences have you had that were positive or negative regarding this command? Were those experiences strict and legalistic or lax and careless?
4. What is your natural response when you are given a command? Have you responded like that to this command?
5. The invitation to rest is intended to revive us, but instead it seems that we are prone to work-a-holism or laziness. Is this an accurate description?
6. Worship is also a time to be refreshed and refocused. In what ways has worship been a part of daily life? What makes it holy?

8. Jesus responds to questions about the Sabbath in Mark 2:26-27, Matthew 12:8, and Luke 6:9. How does Jesus’ responses inform our understanding of the Sabbath?
