Among the Hebrews, a young woman was expected to be a virgin upon marriage (or at the very least, if presented to a man as a virgin, she was expected to be such). On the wedding night though, a husband may discover that his wife wasn't a virgin, and accused her of being a harlot. She could be stoned to death as a result. But what if he accused her falsely? What would happen? In Lesson 67 of our study of Deuteronomy we learn the answer to this question.
