Back in Numbers 27, the only children of Zelophehad, all daughters asked, and received an inheritance of land in Canaan that would have gone to their father had he lived or had sons. This was unusual at the time, for generally women didn't inherit, though the statute handed down in Numbers 27 was to be the rule in Israel. However, some from the tribe of Manasseh (Zelophehad's tribe), came to Moses in chapter 36 with an issue concerning this inheritance that they would like resolved. What was that issue? In Lesson 130 of our study of Numbers we learn the answer to this question.
