The Book of Numbers and most of the Book of Joshua were likely written about 30 years apart. If the book was uninspired by God, then you would expect some details that tie stories together to be missing or contradictory. That's especially true when it comes to promises made to people, particularly women in the time period we're covering. Yet there was a promise made in Numbers 27, that was fulfilled here in Joshua 17. What was that promise? In Lesson 40 of our study of Joshua we learn the answer to this question.
