Dr. Jordan Rogers continues preaching through The Book of Genesis in this sermon on Genesis 26:1-11 entitled, "Where Faithlessness Leads You."

Failing to trust in God will lead you down very dark paths. It doesn’t have to be that way though, because you can and should trust that God is and will always be faithful to His Word.

The marvelous truth for those who have put their faith in Jesus Christ is that when we act faithlessly, God’s remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself. That means, God has promised to remain faithful to His children, those who have been saved by His grace through Jesus, and that faithfulness will never end.

The Apostle Paul proclaims this great truth in 2 Timothy 2:11-13, which says, “The saying is trustworthy, for: If we have died with Him, we will also live with Him; if we endure, we will also reign with Him; if we deny Him, He will also deny us; if we are faithless, He remains faithful—for He cannot deny Himself.”. He further makes the point in Romans 8:38-39 as he wrote, “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
