In Matthew 14:13-16 we see the beginning portion of the feeding of the 5,000. This is one of the most famous miracles of Jesus, and there's several reasons why. This miracle would link back to one of the most famous old testament prophets of Israel. But, also, we have to recognize that Jesus is doing this miracle in a specific place...the wilderness.
