Before the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, Lot and his family were told to leave, and not look back. Lot's wife disobeyed and was turned to a pillar of salt. Jesus used that analogy to something in the future of his time. Why were Jesus' disciples told to remember Lot's wife? In Lesson 88 of our study of Luke we learn the answer to this question.
