The Holy Spirit and the Unforgivable Sin

Within this Sunday’s scripture passage Jesus states “…the one who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.” This statement has shocked, confused, and even caused some Christians to ask, have I committed the unforgivable sin? In this sermon we will consider what it means to blaspheme the Holy Spirit and look at the other important statements that Jesus makes in this passage regarding discipleship and the work of the Holy Spirit.
