This verse is speaking about the Lord Jesus, and that He is able to capture the wind with his fist. We commonly use the phrase “lightning in a bottle”.

My question for you this week – What does answered prayer look like? What does fulfilled prophecy look like?

Usually answered prayer and fulfilled prophecy comes in one word: Opportunities.

“He gathers the wind with his fists” is saying that God seizes the opportunities that come His way. So many opportunities come your way from answered prayer, obedience, faithfulness, commitment, but the trouble is we don’t always recognize opportunity as answered prayer.

So often we miss opportunities all around us – open doors, windows of time, etc., but we’re still asking, “Where’s my answered prayer?”

My prayer for you this week is that you’ll be able to grab the wind with your fist!

The word I want you to focus on is Recognition – to be able to recognize an opportunity, and recognize an answer to prayer.

Answered prayer doesn’t always look how you think it should look. It isn’t always exactly what you’re asking for or in the exact form you think it should come: the timing; the avenue, or the people involved.

Begin to look and ask, “Is that phone call, that email, that visit or that divine appointment, is that the answer to what I’ve been seeking and searching for?”

Whether it’s about your marriage, your health, your money, or your ministry, God is all about creating open doors and open windows of time for you to do all that He wants you to do – to be healed, to be wealthy and prosperous, to be satisfied, and to be anointed and appointed.

This week, begin to confess, “I don’t want to miss any more opportunities. I don’t want to live with regret and remorse. I need to recognize more that God is answering my prayers, my prophecies and words of knowledge; He’s answering them because He has a plan for me!”

Right now, Father I pray that you would begin to let the scales fall from every one of our Partners’ and friends’ eyes, that they would begin to recognize an open door, an avenue, a path, or a window of time, and know that you are creating opportunities for them to escape where they are, to move into a deeper place, to put their hand on a better plow, to be at the hand of the garment, so that healing, deliverance, and breakthrough can come!
