Today in our sermon series on the Shorter Catechism, we have come to the last of the three questions that follow the exposition of the Ten Commandments.

Q. 84 What doth every sin deserve?
A. Every sin deserveth God’s wrath and curse, both in this life, and that which is to come.

In this passage, Paul shows the Galatians that they were foolish to act like they could be accepted by God on the basis of their law keeping.
- Jesus had been crucified for a reason! We need Him to save us.
- Didn’t they realise that anyone who relies on the law is under a
curse?
