Ruth 3:12 És most: bizony igaz, hogy közel rokon vagyok: de van nálamnál még közelebbi rokon is. 
Ruth 3:13 Ez éjszakán hálj [itt]; s majd reggel, ha az megvált téged, jó: váltson meg; ha pedig nem akar téged megváltani, akkor én váltalak meg. Él az Úr! Feküdj [itt] reggelig.

Naomi and Ruth were childless widows living without any means of provision in Bethlehem (Ruth 2:2,18). But Boaz’s behavior towards them was outstanding and teaches us how to treat the poor around us today. In this sermon, Damilola Aderemi talks to us about building intentional relationships and caring for the poor even when others don't. 
 
While there are risks from helping the poor like the other guardian-redeemer pointed out in Ruth 4:6, there are more compelling reasons for us to be generous and kind like Boaz. Find out in the sermon.

The Poor Is One Of Us Ruth 3:12-4:12 - Damilola Aderemi

In the book of Ruth we see a beautiful love story that begins with difficult and bitter circumstances then turns into a sweet redemptive narrative. Ruth displayed faithfulness to her mother-in-law & her God during the most difficult time of her life and God took notice of that and rewarded her for it. The faithful tend to find themselves in the right place at the right time and that was the case with Ruth. Ruth “happened to come to the part of the field belonging to Boaz” (Ruth 2:3). And that is where things started turing around for Ruth & her mother-in-law Naomi. They found a “redeemer” who was willing and able to do something about their circumstances and he did what a godly Israelite was supposed to do in that time. Boaz provided & protected Ruth while she gleaned food from his field and eventually he married Ruth. Ruth got the great honor of being included in the lineage of King David, one of the most important figures in the old testament, and in the lineage of the Jesus the Messiah, the King of Kings. God took a bitter and difficult circumstance that Ruth and Naomi experienced and made something beautiful and sweet out of it all. And He can do the same for you. Know that God will bring sweet redemption out of the most bitter & difficult situations in your life. Do what what is right in God’s sight and live faithful before Him and He will put you where you need to be & lead you to do what you need to do. Look for traces of God’s goodness in your times of trial.

In the book of Ruth we see a beautiful love story that begins with difficult and bitter circumstances then turns into a sweet redemptive narrative. Ruth displayed faithfulness to her mother-in-law & her God during the most difficult time of her life and God took notice of that and rewarded her for it. The faithful tend to find themselves in the right place at the right time and that was the case with Ruth. Ruth “happened to come to the part of the field belonging to Boaz” (Ruth 2:3). And that is where things started turing around for Ruth & her mother-in-law Naomi. They found a “redeemer” who was willing and able to do something about their circumstances and he did what a godly Israelite was supposed to do in that time. Boaz provided & protected Ruth while she gleaned food from his field and eventually he married Ruth. Ruth got the great honor of being included in the lineage of King David, one of the most important figures in the old testament, and in the lineage of the Jesus the Mess
