Rules of Engagement. 
Basic Fast ( 6:00AM to 2:00PM) 
Daniel Fast: Vegetable or Salad Fast (6:00PM to 2:00PM) 
Fasting 7 days round the clock water only. 
Breaking on the fourth (4th) Day to eat and drink. 
OR BREAK AT 2:00 PM EVERY DAY AND DRY FAST ON THE LAST DAY (CROSSOVER) 
 
The only beverage intake is water or 100% natural juices. The primary foods are fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes. There are no sweeteners on the fast, no processed foods or chemicals. (Please consult with your physician for specific guides.) 
 
When fasting, it is necessary to turn away from distractions and spend quality time in prayer. Think of two or three things most pressing on your heart and make that your focal point. You may want to write them down and be prepared to hear God speak to your heart, as He draws you closer to him. 
 
Clearly, the purpose of the fast is to draw closer to God. During your fast, you will want to focus your time with God for a specific purpose or to gain His advice, intervention or direction in your life. 
 
If you have medical issues talk to your doctor but you can eat crackers and take your medicines and we believe you’ll be healed by the end of the program. 
 
Starts 11 pm December 24th – Midnight December 31st (technically until the end of the day on JANUARY 1ST 11:30 pm). 
 
For seven days spend most free time praying, reading the word and praising. No fun activity. Work, take care of your family and pray. 
Avoid getting angry or sinning in any form. The Holy Spirit will help you.

 Join me in the next 40 days beginning on Monday 11th of January, Fasting begins from 6:00AM to 2:00PM daily no meat or blood (please check with your doctor) "Vocally praying through the book of Psalms", praying approximately five (4) chapters a day. God gave the Psalms to us so that we would give the Psalms back to God. When we pray the Psalms our focus is not on what we want to pray about but what God wants us to pray. Praying the psalms means talking to God about what comes to mind as you read the Bible. Usually you might read the passage first, then go back and pray through what you just read. 
 
So, for instance, if today you turned to Psalm 23 in your devotional reading, after completing it you would come back to verse 1 and pray about what occurs to you as you read “The Lord is my shepherd.” You might thank the Lord for being your shepherd, ask him to shepherd you in a decision that’s before you, entreat him to cause your children to love him as their shepherd too, and pray anything else that comes to mind as you consider Psalm 23:1. Then, when nothing else in those words prompts prayer, you continue by doing the same with the next line, “I shall not want.” And on and on you go through the psalm, line-by-line, until you run out of time. 
 
By praying in this way, you discover that you never again say the same old things about the same old things. Here are seven good reasons to pray the psalms. 
 
 Praying the Psalms teaches us to pray. (e.g., Eph. 5:19). 
 Praying the Psalms trains us to respond to the riches of Bible truth. 
 Praying the Psalms shapes well-rounded people to pray in all of human life. 
 Praying the Psalms reorients disordered affections into God’s good order. 
 Praying the Psalms can sweeten sour emotions. 
 Praying the Psalms guards us against dangerously individualistic piety. 
 Praying the Psalms arouses us to warmth in our relationship with God. 
 
 
Have I persuaded you? I hope so! I’d be so pleased to draw you into the same passion for the Psalms that has long stirred my affections for God. Expect a Performance.

 c. We need to be willing to make sacrifice unto the Lord. 
 SACRIFICES THAT PLEASE GOD 
 1. You thank God for the sacrifice of Jesus (Romans 5:8, Titus 2:14) 
 2. Your sacrificial response to Jesus sacrifices (Romans 11:33-12:21, Heb 13:16, Deuteronomy 12:5-7) 
 d. We need to be always connected to the source of LIGHT, and always let that LIGHT shine that bring Glory to God. (John 1:1-5,9, Isaiah 45:7, 64: 8, Mat 5:15-16, Phil 2:12-16, 2 Cor 4:6, Isaiah 58:8) 
 
III. Conclusions 
Christian are instructed to "let your light shine before men , that they may see your good works , and glorify your Father in heaven" . 
It is the Shekhina Glory Of God that signifies the dwelling or settling of the divine presence of God in you Amen.

Throne of Grace ministries was started in 2008 in Southern California according to the vision given to Pastor Rajan based on the scripture Isaiah 61:1-3, “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,...that He may be glorified.”

In Isaiah 58, the prophet cried out for a real heart change among the people. They were good at putting on a religious show, but not so good at truly living a life of care and mercy. So, the Lord called them to change their ways by lovingly sharing with the hungry, clothing the poor, and working to help those in need. He then promised to meet our own needs as we call upon Him. God doesn’t look to bless the perfect, but those who know they need Him. Let’s call upon Him today, even as we serve others with the same love He gives to us. 
 
These videos are recorded for the residents of Friendship Village and made available on our in-house TV channel three times a day, Monday-Friday. In preparation for broadcast, each video is released on YouTube for others to enjoy as well. May you find strength and encouragement in the Lord!
