Calvary Chapel Chester Springs was born out of a Bible study originating from Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia. The small fellowship, led by Pastor Chris Swansen, began meeting in a West Chester home in 1996. Our study soon outgrew its home setting and relocated to an apartment complex clubhouse in nearby Exton. In 1997 our fellowship moved to the West Chester Senior Center and began its Sunday morning service. As the Lord provided, we moved into our new church building located at 217 Dowlin Forge Road in Exton Pa, on June 4th 2006. there is a real reason to be worried - because there is so much uncertainties.
Try Jesus now, - there is nothing to lose, - but everything to gain...

Repent from your sins today, and put your faith in Christ
Tell Him: Lord Jesus, I come to you a sinner. Please forgive me...
I trust that you died for me and you rose again.

Proverbs 24:23-34 Further Sayings of the Wise 
23 These things also belong to the wise: 
 
It is not good to [d]show partiality in judgment. 
24 He who says to the wicked, “You are righteous,” 
Him the people will curse; 
Nations will abhor him. 
25 But those who rebuke the wicked will have delight, 
And a good blessing will come upon them. 
 
26 He who gives a right answer kisses the lips. 
 
27 Prepare your outside work, 
Make it fit for yourself in the field; 
And afterward build your house. 
 
28 Do not be a witness against your neighbor without cause, 
[e]For would you deceive with your lips? 
29 Do not say, “I will do to him just as he has done to me; 
I will render to the man according to his work.” 
 
30 I went by the field of the lazy man, 
And by the vineyard of the man devoid of understanding; 
31 And there it was, all overgrown with thorns; 
Its surface was covered with nettles; 
Its stone wall was broken down. 
32 When I saw it, I considered it well; 
I looked on it and received instruction: 
33 A little sleep, a little slumber, 
A little folding of the hands to rest; 
34 So shall your poverty come like [f]a prowler, 
And your need like [g]an armed man.

How is your walk with God? What is your ministry condition in, not just how it looks to others, but the true substance of it? The vineyard in Proverbs represents both of these and gives a great lesson - "a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest, so shall thy poverty come upon you, and your need, like an armed man!" It's not time to spiritually relax or take a break, it's time to press on...
