He is widely considered to be the world's foremost Messianic Jewish apologist. He and his wife Nancy, who is also a Jewish believer in Jesus, have been married since 1976. They have two daughters and four grandchildren.

…I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on men’s wisdom, but on God’s power (1 Corinthians 2:1-5).

All the promises of forgiveness have to do with sins we have already committed, since God is dealing with us in space and time, and He only forgives us for what we have actually done. It’s as if you have a debit card with a prepaid amount of one million dollars, but the account is not charged until you go out and use it. In the same way, the forgiveness of all of our sins has been prepaid, but that forgiveness is not applied in advance. It is applied as needed. Already

Whatever we place our attention upon becomes more because we place our attention upon it. If we talk about terror, read about terror, think about terror, watch fear-based programming on the television, then we appreciate terror. This is why all masters of manifestation instruct us to place our attention on the feelings of what we seek, not upon what we do not seek.

We think we know that the world around us is decadent and sinful, yet we seem to fit right in. For the most part, we take no outward stand for righteousness; when we do speak and act, we seem more obnoxious than convicting.

Because marijuana is so efficient at cutting off all authentic awareness of our emotional body condition, it allows us to actually believe we are peace-loving people.

He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be My son. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars–their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death. . . . Nothing impure will ever enter it [the New Jerusalem], nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life (Rev. 21:7,8,27).

God withdrew from the temple in Ezekiel’s day because He would not and could not dwell together with idolatry, immorality, and violence. The principle will never change—the Lamb will not be married to someone who remains wedded to his sins, in spite of what some modern teachers claim.

Because marijuana is so efficient at cutting off all authentic awareness of our emotional body condition, it allows us to actually believe we are peace-loving people. Because it artificially and temporarily opens our energy system and gives us a sense of movement and expansiveness without having to consciously integrate our emotional blockages, it allows us to feel as if we are having some sort of spiritual experience. However, it is all inauthentic. For those who only experience these states through its use, these states are only available through its use.

Compromise has a way of blinding our eyes, and we get used to the situation in which we find ourselves, comparing our own lives with the lives of others—until we rediscover the Word of God.

The original purpose of the Church was to be a meeting place between God and man, not a glorified “bless me” club or a receiving place where man comes solely to receive from God. Church was not created as a spiritual bless-me trough where we can roll in the anointing and pig out. Church was created for you to give something of yourself to Him. If

astir. There were outstanding public miracles, and even whole towns turned to the Lord. The name of Jesus was being glorified, and the disciples were one in heart. But sin was also being judged. Ananias and Sapphira lied to the Lord—and both of them fell dead on the spot. Simon the sorcerer tried to buy the gift of God—and he was threatened with damnation for his guilt. Herod gave a speech and

So it was that, figuratively speaking, Jews helped build the house from the foundations up, and then they were told that as Jews they were not welcome.

It may be Jewish in the traditional sense to deny that Jesus is the Jewish Messiah, but that is only because that particular form of Jewishness deviated at some key points from the Hebrew Scriptures.

In the Old Testament, it was a disgrace for women, such as Hannah, to be barren, to be unable to bear children (see 1 Sam. 1:11). And under the New Covenant, it’s a disgrace (in my opinion) for Spirit-filled believers to be barren, to spend our entire lives without receiving and developing a heavenly burden from the Lord.

Some Christians are content to merely exist until they die. They don’t want to risk anything, to believe God, to grow or mature. They refuse to believe His Word, and have become hardened in their unbelief. Now they’re living just to die.

Take any minister at his worst, quote him out of context, magnify his shortcomings and blind spots, and you can make a monster (or even a heretic) out of just about anyone.

My passionate desire is that through this book you will see the world around you completely different than you do right now. That you will begin to see how every single person is valuable, worth it, and has a calling, a destiny, and a purpose in God.

No matter who you are, to Jesus you are valuable. You are worth it. You are beautiful to Him. And when it comes to sharing Jesus and bringing the Kingdom of Heaven to the world around us, we must have the same heart toward others that Jesus has toward us.

I want you to take a moment and pray right now that God will begin to lead you to those to whom He wants you to bring the Kingdom of Heaven. Pray for love and compassion for those who will cross your path today.

Ask the Lord to give you fresh eyes to see, ears to hear, and a heart to discern the beautiful people God has for you to bring the Kingdom to. Countless times I have asked the Lord to show me what He sees in certain people so I can have a heart of love and compassion for them. Like the vision I had, ask the Lord to show you those hidden, beautiful diamonds in people.
