James begins the 5th chapter with a rant against the Rich that have been oppressing the people.   There is always an application with every lesson in the Bible so come and here what is actually "More Precious Than Gold"

"More Precious Than Gold" James 5:1-6

As James concludes the fourth chapter of his general epistle, he challenges us with the question of eternity.   What if tomorrow never comes?  Are we prepared for eternity or just this present life?

"What if Tomorrow Never Comes?" James  4:13-17

James continues to be very direct and provide more direction to the Christian Church.  He says, "Do not judge!"   For many, this is difficult so we look for a loophole.   Join Pastor Ken as we try to answer this question, "Should we judge?"

"Rich and Poor" James 1:9-11

James continues to tell people how to overcome trials and difficult times and tells us "Get Wisdom".   This is critical and unfortunately much of the world is left wanting.   Join Pastor Ken as he gives some historical insight into the need for Wisdom

The Apostle Paul is finishing up his second epistle to the Thessalonians and warns them to keep away from those that are idle and disruptive.  The Bible tells us that work is good.   Join Pastor Ken as he teaches through Paul's letters to the Thessalonians.

The Apostle Paul continues to teach the Thessalonians about the Day of the Lord and speaks to that which restrains the Man of Lawlessness.   We know him as the Beast in Revelation who John also calls the antichrist.   Who is it that restrains? In Chapter 25 of the Acts of the Apostles, the new governor Festus, brings Paul before King Agrippa and Bernice.  This is not a trial but Festus hopes that perhaps Agrippa can provide some answers to what Paul should even be charged with by Rome.

In Caesarea, the new Governor, Festus sits in the Judgement Seat while Paul is accused by the religious leaders from Jerusalem.   The charges are all false but they are asking to allow Paul to be tried in Jerusalem. Paul knows that there will not be a fair trial so he appeals to be heard by Caesar.

In Acts 21, Paul and his companions arrive in Jerusalem.  Paul addresses the elders and they all glorify God having heard what God had done among the Gentiles in his ministry.  However, soon everything changes.  The Elders and Paul will have to deal with the Judaizers.

Acts 19 continues with Demetrius, a silversmith, who made his income from making silver shrines of the goddess Diana, agitating a crowd in Ephesus.  The crowd grows, they begin to shout "Great is Diana of the Ephesians"    Join Pastor Ken as he talks about this riot that the Apostle Paul experienced in Ephesus.

Paul and Barnabas travel to Lystra in Asia Minor.  There they preach and teach and a man that was born lame is healed.   The reaction of the townspeople is beyond what they had expected.  Join Pastor Ken as he teaches through the Acts of the Apostles in this sermon series called "Unstoppable"

Paul and Barnabas are in Iconium  on the First Missionary Journey.  As is Paul's custom he goes first to the Jewish Synagogue.   There a great company of both Gentiles and Jews embrace the Gospel.  However, many of the Jews are not happy and stir up trouble for the Apostles.   Join Pastor Ken as he goes through the book of Acts in this series called "Unstoppable"
