Brownlow North (1810-1875) knew great blessing on his evangelistic preaching. Ourselves: A Picture is distilled from eighteen messages relating to the Exodus from Egypt, beginning with the nature of the people’s bondage as an illustration of our bondage to sin and progressing through key events and relating them to key elements in Christian conversion and the experience of new believers.
Though dated a little in style, this little book shows how types can be used effectively by focusing on the chief parallels rather than getting bogged down in unnecessary detail.
First published in 1865, this edition has been completely re-typeset for issue as an eBook.
