Matthew's Bible 1537: Textus Receptus Bibles (Historical Series Book 3)
This is the third Bible in the Textus Receptus Bibles - Historical Series. The Matthew Bible, also known as Matthew's Version, was first published in 1537 by John Rogers, under the pseudonym "Thomas Matthew". It combined the New Testament of William Tyndale, and as much of the Old Testament as he had been able to translate before being captured and put to death, with the translations of Myles Coverdale as the balance of the Old Testament. It is, therefore, a vital link in the main sequence of English Bible translations.

Textus Receptus Bibles are noted for their advanced navigation which makes them useful as reference works in the eBook environment. You can find books, chapters, and verses quickly and easily, then jump back to the chapter and book indexes just as easily.
