When they try to normalize cheating... - Divorce Minister
Thou shalt not commit adultery. -Exodus 20:14, KJV Cheaters often use the same plays. This is why I believe a dark spiritual element is evident in all cases of infidelity. The commonalities in behavior are too eerily alike to be just be coincidences. Some wicked force is coordinating this evil! One thing I remember my (now) … Continue reading “When they try to normalize cheating…”

Not "understandable" but rather UNACCEPTABLE!!! - Divorce Minister
Thou shalt not commit adultery. -Exodus 20:14, KJV So much energy is often spent trying to “understand” why a cheater cheated. Such energy–especially in churches–is better spent teaching what the Bible teaches–namely, adultery is ALWAYS unacceptable. Circumstances matter not. Adultery is ALWAYS sin. I wonder how many marriages would have been saved this trauma (and … Continue reading “Not “understandable” but rather UNACCEPTABLE!!!”

Some Christians are more upset over divorce than adultery! - Divorce Minister
Thou shalt not commit adultery. -Exodus 20:14, KJV In some Christian circles, the only unpardonable sin in a marriage is filing for divorce. Such priorities are evidence of idolatry as this is not how God treats … Continue reading “Some Christians are more upset over divorce than adultery!”

Ten Commandments, Seventh Command - Ron Edmondson
We, as a society, no longer place a value on life. I know I should have included this comment along with the thoughts on the sixth commandment not to murder, but it fits here as well. When you commit the sin of adultery, even adultery of the heart, you are de-valuing the other person and yourself. You are essentially saying, “I’m cheap, my life is worthless”, or, as the case may be, you are saying, “You’re cheap, and I’m going to take advantage of you.”

Their family of origin might have made the Adams’ family look like a picture of normality. It does not matter. God does not give out permission slips to commit adultery … Continue reading “A Jacked Up Past Is No Excuse”
