Are you like me? Have you walked through painful seasons when there was nothing to do BUT wait on God to move? Hard, isn’t it?? I’ve gone a few rounds with God about waiting seasons. Truth is, He always comes out the winner. And, in retrospect, I’m so very thankful! How do we wait on God well during hard seasons? I’ve found waiting is just plain hard. We each have things within us that make this difficult. For me, I like control of my life. But, God is the One who is ultimately in control. God will never stop helping us grow in Him. And, although He enjoys seeing us reach our goals – especially those He has put in our hearts to accomplish – His love for us and His opinion of us stands, regardless of the status of our checked-off to-do list. In addition, when our goals and tasks honor Him, He’ll help us accomplish these tasks.…

God will intervene in our efforts and help us be the person – and the parent – we pray to be. The changes in our lives will trickle down, blessing our children. Furthermore, our heavenly Father delights to see how His presence in our lives brings us joy and a sense of accomplishment.…

When we’re convinced that “not even God can help us this time,” it’s amazing to think that our heavenly Father reaches into our situation and continues the work He has already begun in us. Then, as we continue to trust in Him, we begin to see progress – the changes His presence is making in our hearts, minds and attitudes.…
