Who would have thought that this Calvinistic professor at Princeton could know and express so much of the love of God in Christ, and how it reproduces itself in His humble followers. Anyone who is consistent in his Calvinism will be a lover of God and of His lambs, and will put the lessons of 1 Corinthians 13 into practice in daily life.
Charles Hodge was the principal of Princeton Theological Seminary between 1851 and 1878. He is considered to be one of the greatest exponents and defenders of historical Calvinism in America during the 19th century.
All of the books that he authored have remained in print over a century after his death.
