This extraordinary collection puts together most of the classic literature on Werewolves, a tradition based in legends that has been in the collective unconscious of humanity for millenia. It starts with the most authoritative work on the subject, the acclaimed non-fiction "Book of Werewolves" by Sabine Bearing, which introduces the reader to the subject and explains the history behind the "myth".
Then, the volume collects the four novels written on the subject during the 19th century, including Dumas THE WOLF-LEADER; WAGNER, THE WEHR-WOLF by George W. M. Reynolds; THE MAN-WOLF by Emile Erckmann and Alexandre Chatrian; and LOKIS by Prosper Merimee.
Then the volume collects a total of 20 novelettes and short stories by such important names as Arthur Conan Doyle (the creator of Sherlock Holmes), Rudyard Kipling, Saki, Ambrose Bierce, Robert Howard (author of Conan the Barbarian), Guy de Maupassant, Hugh Walpole, etc.
This is the biggest collection of classics in one single volume. Hopefully, you will finish reading it before the next full moon!
