The Israelites had a great victory over the Philistine army, a victory made certain by God's divine intervention from heaven. The prophet Samuel stood in their midst and declared, “Thus far the Lord has helped us.” 
 
Sometimes a look back at our lives to date can give us much encouragement for the days ahead. You may be going through ups and downs in life right now but we pray that like the prophet Samuel you can stand at your Ebenezer and declare “Thus far the Lord has helped us.”
