Pastor Paul Berst asks some really interesting questions in his message entitled, “The Day the Sun Stood Still.” What would make you step out in crazy faith like Joshua while asking God for a preposterous request, “Stop the sun!” That is exactly what He did! 
 
Did God actually stop the earth on its axis? Did He create some type of substitute sun to extend daylight? In other words, what really happened here on earth? 
 
Could it be that God intends for us have the same kind of courageous faith that Joshua exhibited? The kind of faith that dares to believe God can do what we consider “the impossible?” 
 
Join us as we explore that faith is not based on who you are or what you can do. Courageous, bold faith is based on who God is, what he has already done, and what He will continue to do. 
 
Joshua 10:13-14 
 
1. Joshua had to endure the consequences of other people’s bad choices. Has that ever happened to you? 
 
2. Did God actually stop the earth on its axis? Did He create some type of substitute sun to extend daylight? In other words, what do you think really happened here on earth? 
 
3. Could it be that God intends for us to have courageous faith? Is it the kind of faith that dares to believe God for the impossible? 
 
4. Do you think God demonstrates His power and supplies His provision in direct proportion to the faith of His children?
