One popular saying goes “the mind is the playground of the enemy,” and that is completely true. The enemy attacks the mind, sows seeds of doubt, and ultimately leads the person astray, resulting in disobedience.

Why is the mind so important? One verse in the Book of Proverbs say that whatever it is a man thinks about himself, that is indeed he. The enemy knows this and so he poisons the mind, leading to evil and ungodly thoughts.

When a person is filled with negative thoughts, his actions and lifestyle would follow its directions, causing the person to fail and sin. In the same way, if we are able to fill our minds with the word of God, and His promises, there won’t be any space left for the enemy to sow seeds of doubt and unbelief.
