This may be a reciprocal question, but other people are still asking “what does the Bible say about itself?” Thankfully, God already knew beforehand that a lot of people would ask this and gave answers throughout the Scriptures.
Even if we only read the Book of Psalms, there are dozens of verses that talk about God’s word and why it is necessary. David’s psalms describe its essence, use, and truthfulness. Unlike man’s words, God’s words stand still and will endure the test of time. One verse in Psalm even says God’s word is forever settled or fixed in heaven.
People who are looking for assurance, hope and promises that do not fail need not look further. No man can give these things to them, but only God through His word.
