He said:<poetry> 2 <poetry>“Who is this that obscures my plans <indent>with words without knowledge? </indent> </poetry> 3 <poetry>Brace yourself like a man; <indent>I will question you,</indent> <indent>and you shall answer me. </indent><poetry></poetry> 4 <poetry>“Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? <indent>Tell me, if you understand. </indent> </poetry> 5 <poetry>Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! <indent>Who stretched a measuring line across it?</indent> </poetry> 6 <poetry>On what were its footings set, <indent>or who laid its cornerstone —</indent> </poetry> 7 <poetry>while the morning stars sang together <indent>and all the angels shouted for joy? </indent><poetry></poetry> 8 <poetry>“Who shut up the sea behind doors <indent>when it burst forth from the womb, </indent> </poetry> 9 <poetry>when I made the clouds its garment <indent>and wrapped it in thick darkness, </indent> </poetry> 10 <poetry>when I fixed limits for it <indent>and set its doors and bars in place, </indent> </poetry> 11 <poetry>when I said, ‘This far you may come and no farther; <indent>here is where your proud waves halt’? </indent><poetry></poetry>

Job 38:1

Then the Lord spoke to Job<cr>1</cr> out of the storm.<cr>2</cr> He said:<pb/><poetry>
