We are an evangelical Christian church, situated in the Lower Blue Mountains, just 10 minutes’ drive west of Penrith, Australia.
We gather to proclaim Christ and so our ministries aim to seek, connect, grow and send people so that together we can serve God and others.

What does a Christian disciple look like? The answer: A Light! Jesus said: ‘let your light shine' (Mt 5:16). Christians live in a fallen and dark world, yet Christians are not to be like the fallen or dark world. They are to be a light. Grasp this truth for a moment. So much about our secular world stresses the need to be like it. To fit in. To conform. To be tolerant. There is however, a key difference between being in the world and being like the world and it is a difference that Christians need to understand and carefully live out. DiscipleWORKS – The Essential Christians is a series that will look at aspects of Christian discipleship. Aspects that any person of faith in Jesus should consider as ‘essential’. 
 
Vision Sunday reminds us of the things we are on about when we gather and serve together in mission and ministry. We should keep on loving one another deeply and constantly over time, show hospitality (even to strangers), and be compassionate. We should also use our gifts to speak the words of God and serve God.

Whether seeking or being married, relating to our children or relating as adults to our parents, there are potholes that rattle us. Proverbs anticipates our struggles and offers timeless wisdom, warning and instruction that find their zenith in the gospel of Jesus Christ. 
 
This talk is about how as we honour our heavenly father and his wisdom, we are called to honour our earthly fathers and mothers. While we may struggle to do this, perhaps through pride, the struggle echos the way we reject God's loving guidance and wisdom.

And as such it gives purpose to how we conduct ourselves as we move closer to the day that the promise is fulfilled. God’s people Israel acted on the strength of the promise that they would be delivered into a new and good land – a home. Joshua leads them by the hand of God – home. In our Bible talks, we are looking at the extraordinary book of Joshua – a book of promise and purpose. A book that points us forward to the fulfillment of the gospel promise, that in Jesus we will delivered – home. In the meantime, it gives us a clear purpose. 
 
This talk is about how the Israelites confirmed their unity between all the tribes, despite the division across the Jordan River. Their unity was based on their relationship with God, just like how unity for us is based our relationship with Jesus.
