The 2 fold purpose of the proverbs is to 1.)  teach us the fear of the Lord and 2.)  help us to become more wise in life's everyday affairs

(18:15) A wise man seeks to gain more wisdom. He gets knowledge because he seeks knowledge. 
 
Knowledge is powerful because it will set you free. Jesus said so himself...if you continue in the Word...you shall come to the knowlege of the truth and it will set you free (John 8:31-32)

The Benefits of Wisdom (Proverbs 15:11-13)

God cares about the legitimate needs of the poor. He will reward a man who honors Him by taking care of the Poor (v30)

Pastor explains how important it is to tell the whole when under oath or anytime.  Because it could save or cost someone their life. God is truthful and in him there is no darkness at all.  He expects the same conduct from his followers!
