The message is clear, Jesus and messianic prophecies are being fulfilled. Part of the "Great Deception" is turning away from prophecy.
2 Timothy 4:3 "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. Throughout time people have put a time stamp as to when Jesus will return. When this event doesn't happen, Christians are scoffed at. True, God does tell use not to time this event.

God also tells use to seek his coming;

Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually. Do we scorn the people who wait for God? NO, we can however have a bit of fun at their expense, with love and understanding. Satan has turned this into a barrage of hate and hateful persecution.
