Intro: 
 God is Lord over time because He created and ordained time. God Himself is timeless and eternal, not bound by space or time. On the other hand, God is not removed from time. Through His providential care and especially in the encarnation of Jesus Christ, God enters into time without being limited by the constraints of time. 
 
How To Value Time? 
 
I. Spend Quality Time With God

II. Learn To Wait Upon The Lord

Conclusion: 
 Give time a chance, problems which thinking might be incapable of solving, yet with time they can be solved and by patiently giving God an opportunity to intervene to solve them.

 God proved over and over again that whatever He told the children of Israel would become a reality in their lives. 
 Joshua is reminding them of that so that they would have courage and confidence in God for now and for the future. We can have that same courage and confidence in our lives as we trust in God too!

 God's covenant for us is to be faithful to his promises no matter what will happen.

 There is no way to measure the number of problems, difficulties, heartaches, and hardships that exist here today, but we should be assured that there is nothing that is too hard for the Lord. 
 
Assurance That Nothing Is Difficult for God

 If we are in the midst of a hard situation, let's come and submit ourselves to Him tonight and He will see us through it. Let's believe that God will answer our prayers.

The people learn their lesson and repent and truly rely on God for all their needs. They realize only God may save them. There is no other deliverance. There is no other place to find joy and satisfaction.

 If we think about our lives, and all of the things that we try to put our assurance in..both as Christians and non- Christians..to this day we will put our hope in parents,leaders,pastors, coaches. We put our hope in our talents,our abilities our gifts. We see others with large salaries,homes, cars and we think to ourselves if we just had a little more then maybe we could be a little more secure and not have to be constantly thinking about those issues. 
 But could we really say that our fulfillmeny lies on these things? Are we really sure that all these are the only thing that matters? 
 Where can we find the real sense of fulfillment? 
 
What Will Bring Us To Sense Of Fulfillment? 
 
I. The Knowledge Of Christ...Is Incomparable To Anything Else.

 People will fade. Things will fade. They break, they fail, they go away. The knowledge of Christ is not only a knowledge of something that will never fade away. Digging ever deeper inti the Word doesn't have to be a burden, or exhausting. The message of the Word, the knowledge of Christ is life giving. The more we chase after Him, the more we desire Him. 
 Let's all find that sense of fulfillment in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
