Pastor Bayles is an expository preacher who teaches straight from the Bible. Pastor John Bayles and his wife, Karen, have been associated with Twinbrook Community Church (formerly Halpine Baptist Church) for over 38 years. In the early years, he led the worship ministry and developed a Christian Education training and counseling ministry. After his graduation from the University of Maryland in 1981, he was granted a leave of absence from 1982 to 1985 to study at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (M.Div. 1985), in Boston MA.
