God has always given him the ability to triumph. 
 
Now he faced one of the greatest challenges of his life -a trained and well - armed warrior named Goliath. 
 
The secret of David’s success was his ability to trust and obey God. 
 
David founded his faith in the sovereignty of God;that is why he knew he was not going to fail in his quest to defeat the Philistine giant. 
 
How can you gain that kind of faith?

-Reject Discouraging Words.

Despite the strongest opposition for Rebuilding the broken walls of the temple he said “The lord God of heaven will give us the success.(Nehemiah 2:20)
