Seek the God of the Break through! | Bible Devotional 1 Chronicles 14:8-17

“So they strengthened the kingdom of Judah, and made Rehoboam the son of Solomon strong for three years, because they walked in the way of David and Solomon for three years.” 2 Chronicles 11:17 
 
This was the true strength of Judah; the Levites, the priests and all godly men and women from the northern kingdom who migrated to the southern kingdom to live there. These godly servants of the LORD refused to live in a kingdom where worshipping God as He commanded was against the law. 
 
This is still true today spiritual leaders and God seekers strengthen Nations, communities, businesses, and families.

Faith In The Battle | Bible Devotional 1 Chronicles 5:18-20

This passage is a work of revival; restoring LIFE to something that at one time had life. That’s what God wants to do right now! 
 
You may be in a hopeless situation. Place your hope in God. 
 
Ezekiel, found himself stuck in a valley of hopelessness - surrounded by dry bones. God promised to fill the dry bones with breath. He promised to bring flesh upon those bones and cover them with skin. God would make the once dead and dry bones live. 
 
All Ezekiel had to do was declare Gods Word. Prophecy and pray.   
Ezekiel prophesies twice. The first time he prophesied to the bones (what was dead) and the second time to the wind (the Spirit of God) - to give what was dead the BREATH OF LIFE. ????✨

The Dry Bones Can Live | Bible Devotional Ezekiel 37:1-10

In this passage of scripture we read the second half of Zechariah’s song. (Zechariah is John the Baptist’s dad) John’s father turns from praising God for how He keeps His promises in general, to the specific promise God had made concerning John. 
 
Before John was even born – he had a God given purpose. 
You have a God given purpose.

You have a God given purpose | Bible Devotional Luke 1:76-80

In Mark 11:15-19 Jesus drove out the buyers and sellers in the temple, He repeated these words from the book of Isaiah: “Is it not written: ‘My house will be called a HOUSE OF PRAYER for all nations’? But you have made it ‘a den of robbers’” (see also Matthew 21:13; Luke 19:46). The house of God, the place where He dwells—is a holy place reserved for prayer and worship, but the money-changers had repurposed it for their own selfish gain, bringing the righteous anger of Jesus upon them. 
In the Bible, when Jesus says something, we take notice. So, when we see the same story & Jesus repeating the same phrase in three of the gospels - then it’s an absolute! It is clearly very important to Jesus - it’s something to meditate on, to understand, to desire, to practice! 
A house of prayer is a dwelling place for God. So, a house of prayer is built for the presence of God to dwell in—not visit or look at but actually inhabit. When God’s people pray then Jesus’ life, His desires, His affections flow through His people to a dying world. 
You are God's house of prayer. After Jesus was resurrected and ascended into heaven, the church - all believers in Jesus Christ, are now called the house of God: (refer Hebrews 3:6, 1 Corinthians 3:9, 16-17 & 1 Timothy 3:15). 
“ [Come] and, like living stones, be yourselves built [into] a spiritual house, for a holy (dedicated, consecrated) priesthood, to offer up [those] spiritual sacrifices [that are] acceptable and pleasing to God through Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 2:5 AMPC)
