We continue through the Book of Jeremiah with chapter 19, and the first part of 20, to be the salt and light to the world; but with clay. 
 
## Buy a jar with your own money and go where I send a speak what I say 
- Verse 1-9, 14 & 15 
 / In one stage you’re the observer; in another you're the participant 
 \ There is time to see and know who God is and then there is time to go and serve 
 / The investment that God is calling us to can include some very uncomfortable places and people 
 \ In verse 1, the priests and elders hated Jeremiah 
 \ We may be sent to a place because they have turned their backs on God 
 / The words God had for Jeremiah to say 
 \ Bad times are coming 
 
## Break the jar and lament its irreparable brokenness 
- Verses 10-13 
 / The leaders watched Jeremiah break the pot in front of them 
 \ A metaphor that they are irreparable because they failed to repent to the Lord 
 / As God’s servants we must be able to say all what God says 
 / Hopelessness cannot be fixed 
 
## Bear with endurance with the hurt from your obedience with the jar 
- Chapter 20 verses 1-6 
 / We will face persecution for doing God's work in a world that has turned their backs on Him 
 \ Even if that person is in the house of worship 
 \ There will be lying preachers 
 a wolf in sheep’s clothing 
 / Even when we are most uncomfortable, God will deliver us 
 / It hurts to obey the Lord 
 \ God has intended purposes for His followers 
 \ Our suffering is never in vain

## God's Response - Jeremiah 15:19-21 
Repent - Jeremiah 15:19 
-Refocus on the King 
-the world may turn to us, but we may *not* turn to them 
He's going to help us - Jeremiah 15:20 
-He promises to bring Devine aid 
He Will Redeem - Jeremiah 15:21 
-He sets us free 
 
## Call to cation 
-Do not be weary doing Good 
-Guard your honesty 
Consider Christ the Greatest Treasure
