How to be born again? Its childlike simple. Just trust the gospel, that Jesus, God in the flesh, shed His righteous blood on the cross for the forgiveness of sins according to the scriptures and rose again from the dead according to the scriptures for our justification. He did it all. He imputes His perfect righteousness to us and we stand by faith. We are kept by Him and we are sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption. Its that simple. If you are trying to offer your works or obedience for salvation then you haven´t understood the gospel and you are trying to put God in your debt, you feel He owes you something for what you've done but none are worthy, only Jesus and that's why we throw our crowns at His feet, He did it all and we stand by faith through grace. Only the blood of Jesus saves. He is the way, the truth and the life and nobody gets to the Father except through Him!
