Many pray for God's help, but how many give Him thanks and prayer for answering that prayer. Anytime that God demonstrates His power by answering prayer the automatic response of a believer must be to give Him thanks and praise. That was the theme of last week's message. When we do that, that is being outwardly religious and having a heart that is far from God. We need to remind ourselves that God cares more about the heart (godliness) than what we can do for Him.
