Each Sabbath (Saturday) we study the Scriptures to learn more about how Yahuah (the God of Israel) wants us to live and relate to Him according to the entire Bible - not just the New Testament. We teach the message of salvation by grace through faith in Yahushua and repentance from sin (which is disobeying the commandments), and we study Scripture from a Hebraic perspective as we try to live in obedience to Yahuah's Word (as much as possible) in order to show our love for Him and to more fully experience His blessings and rewards both in this life and in the world to come - the eternal Kingdom of Yahuah on earth.

Since my ALS diagnosis (Lou Gehrig's disease) in May 2018, all the things that I am doing to fight it are definitely helping. In June, I had all the mercury fillings and metal crowns in my teeth replaced. On June 27, I began IV infusions with phosphatidylcholine and glutathione, administered by Dr. Michael Taylor. On October 17 I received a stem cell treatment, and I will have another one in January 2019. And I still take several supplements and vitamins. And none of this is covered by insurance. I have exhausted my savings and am living on social security and help from friends and our fellowship of believers.

My symptoms are called "bulbar onset ALS" because it showed up first in my speech and swallowing. My symptoms have been about the same for a few months. I have a bit more neck and back pain when I'm up and around. My swallowing and eating are still difficult and slow; I have lost some control of muscles in my mouth and tongue, so some foods are very hard to eat and I cannot speak. But I'm eating plenty and am not losing any more weight. My breathing is diminished but okay; I use a Trilogy non-invasive ventilator all night. It's sort of like a CPAP machine. 
 
I'm taking the Deanna Protocol, developed by a surgeon for his daughter that got ALS, and several other vitamins and supplements, including colloidal silver, things that have helped others. And we cleaned up my diet; I eat mostly organic, non-GMO food. 
 
I'm still walking (short distances), eating, driving, typing on the computer, playing guitar (although not quite as well), and writing Bible lessons which others present for me – in other words, I'm still doing everything but talking and singing. I get tired more easily and my neck and back hurt if I'm up very long, but I don't have any pain otherwise.

I reject this prognosis and even the diagnosis because I am a firm believer in the God of the Holy Bible, the God of Israel (Yahuah) and in His Word, the Bible. I believe His words when He says in His Word several times, in various ways, that those who really believe Him (not just believe IN Him) and who repent from all their sins and come to faith in His Son, our Messiah Yahushua (aka Jesus Christ), are given salvation AND HEALING. By His stripes (suffering) we are healed; our healing is included in the atonement, but we must believe it and we should understand the various ways He can heal us. His healing can come all at once or little by little, and it can come supernaturally or through doctors, treatments, vitamins & supplements, etc. Unless I receive a supernatural "all at once" miracle, then I assume that His healing will be manifest in my body slowly, perhaps though doctors, treatments, vitamins & supplements, etc. and I NEED YOUR HELP. 
 
We believe this is, at least in part, a spiritual attack. Satan failed to take me out or shut me up with a stroke in November 2016, so he's attacking me again, even harder. But my God is more powerful than the devil, and we trust Him to heal me completely in His perfect timing. So, along with everything else, my wife and I will fast, pray, focus on the positive, and immerse ourselves and our home with healing Scriptures. Please include us both in your prayers!
