From a dream I had... 
 
 Psalm 8:1-8 - 
 
8 O Lord, our Lord, 
 how majestic is your name in all the earth! 
You have set your glory above the heavens. 
2 Out of the mouth of babies and infants, 
you have established strength because of your foes, 
 to still the enemy and the avenger. 
 
3 When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, 
 the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, 
4 what is man that you are mindful of him, 
 and the son of man that you care for him? 
 
5 Yet you have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings[b] 
 and crowned him with glory and honor. 
6 You have given him dominion over the works of your hands; 
 you have put all things under his feet, 
7 all sheep and oxen, 
 and also the beasts of the field, 
8 the birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea, 
 whatever passes along the paths of the seas.

Sermon - "God, Who Am I to You?"  (Psalm 8:1-8)

Revelation 2:12-17 - “And to the angel of the church in Pergamum write: ‘The words of him who has the sharp two-edged sword. 
13 “‘I know where you dwell, where Satan's throne is. Yet you hold fast my name, and you did not deny my faith even in the days of Antipas my faithful witness, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells. 14 But I have a few things against you: you have some there who hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the sons of Israel, so that they might eat food sacrificed to idols and practice sexual immorality. 15 So also you have some who hold the teaching of the Nicolaitans. 16 Therefore repent. If not, I will come to you soon and war against them with the sword of my mouth. 17 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, with a new name written on the stone that no one knows except the one who receives it.’

Sermon - "The Church of Pergamum" - Revelation 2:12-17

God cares about individuals, even though He is the Creator of all things. Man looks through telescopes in awe to the stars and the sun and moon, while God looks down from above the heavenly with love and compassion to individual humans. 
 
The other night I had a dream about the number "818". It was related to a ticket to heaven. When I woke up I believed the number referred to a Psalm - Psalm 8:1-8. For the past several weeks I had been asking the Lord to directly reveal to me who I am in Him - what does it mean to be a son of God. Thank You, Father. You always hear Your children. 
 
Lord, thank You for loving me. Thank You that You are concerned about the least of these. Thank You, God, that You are humble even though You are so great!

Sermon - Jeremiah 17:7  "Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord..."  We are not to be controllers, but encouragers.  It is not up to us to control and dominate others in the name of Jesus.  Jesus is in charge and His Spirit leads us:  Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom."

James 1:27 - Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.
