ANTIOCH BAPTIST CHURCH AUGUSTA, GEORGIA -has a prolific history that began when it was organized April 10, 1878. Antioch has had five buildings in three locations (two structures destroyed by fire) and ten pastors between 1878-2020. Reverend Kenneth B. Martin became the pastor in April 1986 and has shown excellent leadership in a holistic ministry. Noteworthy Achievements: Antioch Ministries, Inc. (AMI) was organized as a separate IRS designated 501 (c) 3 non-profit community developer; more than 80 blighted and vacant properties have been acquired for redevelopment; more than 25 housing units have been completely gutted and restored in the community surrounding Antioch; Over 40 newly constructed single-family homes have been completed and sold to eligible moderate income families;
