"Woman of Valor!" Proverbs 31:10-31 - Sermon 5/10/20

On that first Palm Sunday, thousands cried out, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” Several days later, many of the same people shouted, “Crucify him!” Very, very few remained devoted to Jesus all the way through. What kind of worshiper of Jesus are you?

The Way of Jesus: Palm Sunday - John 12:9-19 “What kind of worshiper are you?” (Sermon 4/5/20)

Jesus continues to encourage, bless, and teach His disciples in the intimate and challenging moments between the Last Supper and His arrest. He reminds them, and all future followers of His, how to live a life that brings Him glory and counts for eternity. 
 
Hi First Baptist Family! Thank you for your love, prayers, encouragement and support as we continue to navigate these uncharted waters. I did a couple of things this week to improve the quality of this video, including adding a lapel mic, but I ended up having it a little too close so the audio quality is rough at points. I did preach a longer message this time to avoid the possibility that you would all ask for videotaped messages once we resume meeting at church ???? 
I miss and love you all so much!

-In your Christian walk, which do you tend to emphasize the most: right “thinking”, right “doing”, or right “being”? How can you grow in equally emphasizing the other dimensions? 
-How are you intentionally pursuing growth in right thought/belief/doctrine? How are you intentionally pursuing growth in right doing/living/loving? How are you intentionally pursuing Jesus Christ and a deepening love relationship with Him? 
-How does being called a friend by Jesus impact you?
