Colossians 2:16 - Do We Have to Observe the Sabbath - Bible Answers - Victor Gill

There is a revelation here of the attempt to destroy Christ's two witnesses - a part of Satan's tactics in his battle against Christ. He attempted to destroy Christ's evidence of himself. There have been many times when the Devil has tried through various means to destroy God's word, the Bible. But he is not sufficiently powerful to do this. Peter declared. "But the word of the Lord endureth forever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you." 1 Peter 1:25 
 
This battle between Christ and Satan over the two witnesses continued for 1260 years. Christ emerged victorious from that period. His two witnesses became available to the people of earth. Their message (the Bible) is the foundation of all truth. It is the message of the two witnesses which illuminates the minds of people with regard to the special last day message to be proclaimed to the world before Christ returns. The teachings and traditions of men must have no part in the truth of God in these latter days. In preparation for the coming of the Lord let us be willing to align ourselves on the side of Christ's two witnesses. 
 
This Bible prophecy in Revelation 11:3-13 contains the 1260 days prophetic time period which is the 1260 years of Papal domination and persecution. Also the three & one-half prophetic days which are three & one-half years when the Bible was proscribed in Revolutionary France from November 26, 1793 until June 17, 1797.

Revelation 11:15-19 focuses on the seventh trumpet prophecy. We have already covered six of the seven trumpets but this final trumpet is perhaps the most important because it concerns our generation and the termination of this world's history. In this Bible prophecy the mystery of God is finished and the Kingdom of God is established on earth. The anger of the nations coincides with the wrath of God culminating in the destruction of all earthly kingdoms and ushering in the reign of Jesus Christ as King of Kings. The Temple of God in heaven is opened and the dead are judged and the saints are rewarded.

And the wicked don't understand God's truth-they just don't get it! But God still graciously sends them an end times message in order to save them from eternal death. This last message is the eternal gospel and is interwoven with Bible Prophecy from the books of Daniel and Revelation. It is the Three Angels Message of Revelation 14:6-12 which is God's final warning to earth's inhabitants. It is a call to worship God the Creator and obey his holy law. The identity and evil works of the Antichrist are revealed in it. The End of America and the World is approaching rapidly! The decline and fall of America is ongoing & imminent. The Obama Administration is repudiating every Christian principle upon which America was founded! This is god's last altar call! The Kingdom of God is at hand!
