As I look back over the last fifty or so years, I am amazed at the goodness and faithfulness of God. In the Bible He says " I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine."John 10:14. As the Good Shepherd, He has supplied my every need; when I have deliberately wandered away into trouble, He has restored my soul and gently turned my feet back into the paths of righteousness, for His own name's sake. I can honestly say with the psalmist, " Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever." Psalm 23:6 Having now reached retirement, I would like to spend whatever further time God grants me, in encouraging and sharing with others, God's goodness and mercy through Christ.
