You will see that the scriptures say something differently about both of these matters.

The Israelites of old worshipped the heathens Pagan Gods, observed their Pagan holidays and did as they did just like our people are doing today. This is why our ancestors were punished with slavery and the other curses mentioned in Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28. Learn from the mistakes of our ancestors because The Most High God has blotted out the sins of our ancestors and his son is returning to redeem us. Will you be ready to be collected by him, or are you still caught up in Esau's wicked world that is going to soon perish? Show The Most High God that he is deserving of our love, worship, praise and that we are willing to stop sinning and partaking of this world because we love him.

How you live your life is the deciding factor of which side you belong on and who you follow, Satan or The Most High. What is in our heart manifests in our lives. Do you live for now in this old system of things or do you live for the coming Kingdom of The Most High God? The choice is yours as we are all given free-will.

Who Do You Follow Satan or The Most High? Luke 9:22-24

The flesh is weak but does that mean that we should give in to temptation and sin against the most High God who loves us and provides a way of escape? This verse struck a chord in my heart and I was prompted to do a short video on it as a source of encouragement. 
Mark 14:38 Stay awake and pray that you are not tempted. You want to do what is right but the flesh is weak.
