The Spirit, water (born of the flesh), and blood (died for our sins) testifies of Jesus fulfilling Scripture as being the Christ, the Son of God.
He is the only begotten of the Father through a virgin birth, He led a sinless life in the flesh, died for our sins on the cross, and was quickened by the Spirit through a bodily resurrection.
He bears witness to the Father in Heaven and in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
He also bears record to the promise of God that He gives us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
We receive the free gift of eternal life through faith in the finished, redemptive work of Jesus Christ.
He gives us an understanding of Him that is true, the one true God, and eternal life. God bless!
