This week's episode of The Word Made Fresh invites us to have an honest conversation with one of the most well known and quickly quoted verses in the Bible: "All things work together for good for those who love God."

But too often this verse is applied to anyone experiencing oppression and injustice, requiring them to just keep on taking it because "all things work together for good." But in reality "all things" often work together for those with the power and privilege.

All this to say, let's talk.

1. What do you think of when you read this verse?
2. What is your relationship with the Bible, especially a verse like this?
