I just needed a few more seconds of music to fill up the second side of the Scripture Song cassette project I was recording back in 1991, so I picked this text and quickly put music to it. It has since been one of the texts that has stuck in my mind as much if not more than many others. I have since included this text in another song (Seal Not the Sayings - Revelation 22:10-13), but this is the one that sticks.

And, behold, I come quickly;
And my reward is with me,
To give every man according as his work shall be.
I am Alpha and Omega,
The beginning and the end,
The first and the last.
