This lesson shows that we can jeopardize our relationship with God and our life by supporting and trying to establish relationships with those who do not want or need a relationship of faith in God (in their minds and hearts). Ahab (king of Israel) used lies, common cause, and vanity to deceive Jehoshaphat (king of Judah) putting his relationship with God, and his life in the hands of evil. Today we have the word of God, and the spirit of God that instructs us, warns us, and gives us discernment to not lead ourselves into temptation. Listen to the word and the spirit of God and be delivered from the evil.
