Have you ever wondered what does true discipleship looks like? Have you forsaken all to follow Jesus? In this lesson Jesus speaks to and challenges the great multitude that followed Him from the Pharisee's house.

Jesus teaches through parables in this lesson, that there is a price in becoming a disciple, He used three parables.

1. the man who intended to build a tower needs to first sit down and count up the cost.
2. The king who is about to fight a war, who has only 10,000 against a king who has 20,000, Jesus says he need to consult with his team to determine if they can win the war or not.
3. This third one deals with the fact that the salt is very useful especially in their day and time, but if the salt has lost its saltness, it is then good for nothing.

He closes out with the fact that whoever follows Him, must 1. come to Him, 2. deny all others, 3. take up his own cross, and follow after Him.
