11/18 - Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 - 'That’s the whole story. Here now is my final conclusion: Fear God and obey his commands, for this is everyone’s duty. God will judge us for everything we do, including every secret thing, whether good or bad.'

Tradition says that King Solomon wrote the book of Ecclesiastes later in life, this is still debated to this day. Regardless, the whole book of Ecclesiastes reminds us that worldly things, while they may look outstanding on the surface are not what is truly fulfilling. There is a deeper meaning and a deeper connection to focus on.

These two final verses in this chapter, and in the book, remind us wholly of the importance of our relationship with God. So often, our lives are filled with ambiguity… and there will always be things we don’t understand, in our life, in the moment. God sees the bigger picture. He sees what will happen in the future, and he sees us in our past. Stay the path that he has laid out for us. God is fair and just… and he see’s all!
